Administration
• Esomeprazole (Generic Nexium) can be taken with water, at least one hour before or after food or without food.
• Take Esomeprazole (Generic Nexium) at around the same time every day and take exactly as directed.

• For Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
Esomeprazole 40mg in two divided doses, to take one dose per day for 4 to 8 weeks as directed

• For Erosive Esophagitis
Esomeprazole 40mg once per day for 4 to 8 weeks as directed

• For Helicobacter pylori Infection
Esomeprazole 40 mg orally once a day for 10 days along with amoxicillin 500mg x 2 as a single dose for 10 days as directed

• For NSAID-Induced Gastric Ulcer
Esomeprazole 40mg once per day for 6 months as directed

• For Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
Esomeprazole 40 mg orally twice daily. Doses up to Esomeprazole 40 mg x 6 daily (total of Esomeprazole 240 mg) have been used as directed

• For Pathological Hypersecretory Conditions
Esomeprazole 40 mg orally twice daily. Doses up to Esomeprazole 40 mg x 6 daily (total of Esomeprazole 240 mg) have been used as directed
