Administration
• Alendronate (Generic Fosamax) should be taken with a full glass of plain water immediately after you get out of bed in the morning, before you eat or drink anything.
• You should eat and drink plenty of foods and drinks that are rich in calcium and vitamin D at least 30 minutes before the use of Alendronate (Generic Fosamax).

Alendronate 40mg once daily for six months or Alendronate 70mg every two days for six months as directed
