Administration
• Clomiphene Citrate (Generic Clomid) and Tamoxifen (Generic Nolvadex) can be taken with a full glass of water after food.
• Use exactly as directed and allow 2 hours after taking one of each tablet.

First Course on the Fifth Day of Menstrual Cycle:
Clomiphene Citrate 50mg once daily for 5 days

Begin Second Course if First Course Failed:
Clomiphene Citrate 50mg twice x day as a single dose for 5 days

Note: Should not exceed use of Clomiphene Citrate 50mg x 15 (total of Clomiphene Citrate 750mg) per cycle.

Amenorrhea

Side effects - Clomiphene Citrate and Tamoxifen

(Generic Clomid +Generic Nolvadex)

• May cause blurred vision or vision problems (spots or flashes); bone pain; constipation; coughing; hot flashes; muscle pain; nausea; tiredness; vaginal discharge; weight loss, breast tenderness; dizziness; enlarged breasts; enlargement of the ovaries; flushing; headache; hot flashes; lightheadedness; mood change; nausea; pelvic pain or bloating; stomach pain; vomiting. If side effects persist, stop treatment and consult your doctor immediately.

Contraindications:
• Patients who develop hypersensitivity to Clomiphene Citrate (Generic Clomid) and Tamoxifen Citrate (Generic Nolvadex).

• FDA assigned Clomiphene Citrate (Generic Clomid) as Category X, seriously contraindicated for use during pregnancy, evidence has shown fetotoxicity to animals.

• Tamoxifen (Generic Nolvadex) is contraindicated in patients who have hypersensitivity reactions. Tamoxifen is listed in FDA pregnancy under category D, which means Tamoxifen can harm the fetus.

Important Things to Remember when taking Clomiphene Citrate and Tamoxifen tablets in the Combo Pack

• You should know that Clomiphene Citrate (Generic Clomid) therapy is typically used early in the menstrual cycle for 5 consecutive days, for 3 to 6 monthly cycles. It may take several cycles to find the right dose of Clomiphene (Generic Clomid) to stimulate ovulation. After that Clomiphene (Generic Clomid) dose is determined, a female shall take the hormone drug for at least 3 more cycles. If a female does not become pregnant after 6 cycles, it is unlikely that further female hormone clomiphene treatment will be successful.

• It is important that you know that the use of Tamoxifen (Generic Nolvadex) drug may not work as effectively if taken with other breast cancer treatment or any estrogen medication (such as hormone replacement therapy, estrogen creams, or birth control pills, injections, implants, skin patches, and vaginal rings). You must tell your doctor if you are also taking other breast cancer treatments and on an estrogen medications.

• It is important that you know that women taking Tamoxifen (Generic Nolvadex) willdecrease the risk of developing breast cancer have developed cancer of the uterus, stroke, and blood clots in the lung. Some of these events have been fatal. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop any of the following: unusual vaginal bleeding or discharge; abnormal menstrual period; groin pressure or pain; chest pain; shortness of breath; coughing up blood; confusion; one-sided weakness; vision or speech problems.

• You should discuss the use of Tamoxifen (Generic Nolvadex) with your doctor when you are at high risk of breast cancer or with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).

• You should discuss the use of Clomiphene Citrate 100mg + Tamoxifen10mg with your healthcare provider.
